The Sony-Ericsson T68i has a timeless quality to it.
It combines simple lines, sleek dimensions and cool colors, with icon-friendly navigation and a deep feature set. The result represents a perfect balance of form and function.
The phone’s designers wisely chose to utilize a universally appealing shape, a shape seen in everything from soda bottles to sports cars: the shape of a woman’s body...
Quite an appropriate choice, considering how the phone’s target market scrambles to download new pics of Christina Aguilera for use as color backgrounds.
And have you ever seen a better-looking ‘Yes’ button?
This unique shape reminds me of computer consoles found in futuristic Anime sagas. The navigation buttons and joystick found on the T68i should be a source of inspiration for all mobile phone designers from now on.
Yes, it’s becoming an ‘old’ phone, but I suspect I will keep this phone around for many years, just so I may admire its design.
The T68i shall be the standard to which all future designs will be compared.
