As far as I know Sony will not honor the warranty if you buy from a non authorized Sony dealer. I had a problem with mu Xperia S and Sony would not cover it under warranty because I did not purchase it from an authorized dealer. |

Oh...I thought their warranty covers as long you bought it from the country it was from. Because when I had my Xperia T with the peeling issue, I called sony and they said they could not cover it just because I bought it from UK. |

In the US as long as the phone is within a year of manufacture, or you have the proof of purchase with the date, they will honor the warranty. |

If you want premium feel go for z. But if you want more compact go for zl. Both are great device.
Also it happens the screen of my zl is better than my z before that's why I choose zl.

Hmm,I liked the speakers,in Z its really sucks,and not compact like ZL:) yeah man, didn't like much premium in Z,its a good phone,black is cool,even ZL felt hot on back cover,might showroom demo kept for long time. |

It's wierd that a white ZL has never showed up yet.
Im from China. There are balcks ones on sales on internet, but only black.
Can someone please advise what is going on with the white ones? |

Calibration software is for white balance only not for contrast.
Yesterday, I experience sleep of death with my zl. It almost 2 hrs I cannot turn it on(tried power button + volume key)! Then I checked the back cover where my SIM is located, there is a reset button there then I click it then my zl normalized and kicking again. I'm afraid one day it will be totally dead. I hope not.

There are similar probelms occured on XZ AFAIK. It is said SM has realized the issue and the fix will be made with next FW update. |

According to MobileSyrup the ZL display has better color accuracy but the viewing angles are not as good. But they still say that the ZL display is better.
