I have the same view what Randomuser has to say. I didn't like the Grey UI either.

Battery life is superb in Stamina mode. Still a lot to play with this beauty.

How does Force GPU Rendering helps?

Uses the GPU power to render the UI.

I would love to give my review of my Xperia Z but unfortuly its dead after a few hours on, first impressions?

The display its very very good in fact i have to lower the brightness because was very bright!

The sound quality of the phonecall was suberb, mutch better than my xperia S

The phonne in my view feels big, i read some reviews about felling small and light... dont agree, its feels realy big

Its beautiful, sending my back tomorrow hope they return a new one very soon...

..For now im just frustrated!

Two things I learnt, thanks to google!

Socialife takes you to play store and then makes you realise it's not compatible with Xperia Z

Flash memory is the primary internal memory. It's sad you can't make SD card as you're primary memory card unless you ROOT.

@Indiandawg,

I think it's a Jellybean thing, since it will not allow apps to be moved to the microSD, only some apps might choose to move some of their data to the microSD... again only some apps depending on the developer... For example Flipboard, Pocket, SoundCloud, Google Drive will use the microSD to save some Cache and temporary files there, also some big games like NFS Most Wanted, Real Racing 3 will save their huge files in the microSD ( more than 1GB each )... but most apps won't save any thing... specially Google apps, Chrome and Google Music for example will not save cache or temporary files in the microSD thought usage might be hundreds of MB incase of Chrome to hundreds of MB's or some GB's in case of offline music in Google Music...

WRT Memory

AFAIK, it is indeed a JB thing with Google forcing the whole fixed memory plus Cloud storage idea on to OEMs.

On the other hand it does keep your Android smartphone clean in terms of having app/game data all over the place previously, but it also means that if you are a power user you would be best off getting an Android with atleast 32GB built in memory if you have a lot of apps and games.

@vikeviki Every penny is worth it bro. Honestly I'm so much in love with Stamina Mode. I don't know how people use their phone but my 3G is on all the time, I use WhatsApp every 10-15mins, I very much get regular calls too. I've only put Gmail & WhatsApp on the list that can run on background. Also brightness is around 70%-75%

@Xajel / @Tsepz_GP This is not a good step taken by Google. This is a total waste of my 32GB card since I don't watch movies on smartphone & I don't pack 10-20GB of music either. I think I'm going to ROOT it down if I don't find any solution to this.

@burnin Sorry to hear buddy. Do follow this thread if any solution comes out later on - http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/120222

I read on Sony Forum that Socialife app is updated, can anybody run that application? I'm still unable to update or run.

EDIT: for those who's been missing out on camera button, download Camera Zoom FX & select Volume buttom to take video & pictures. Here's more info on that http://www.androidslide.com/instructions - customize any other hardware button, e.g. volume, or gesture, e.g. swipe left (must be configured in Settings > Custom Buttons)

I bought it from Sony Center, Opera House for Rs. 36,990

Is it same for all Sony centers across India???here they say 37,990/-

No he gave Rs.1000/- discount.

Why am I getting this error? I got Micro SD 32GB Class 10. It use to work amazing on Arc S.

It even gets detected. I've transferred movies & music too.

EDIT: BTW, Stamina mode is AWESOME! Like finally there's no battery drainage.

Regarding the premium case & headphones, I got no idea but I hardly care lol.
