A study conducted by Strategy Analytics found Apple users are no longer as interested in sticking with the brand’s products in the future. The survey found 88% of current iPhone owners in the U.S. were likely to buy another Apple smartphone. But just last year the study reported 93% of customers willing to purchase a subsequent Apple product. The decline in Apple loyalty can also be seen globally. The study found 75% of Western European users were likely to purchase another Apple handset, down from 88% in 2011.

My Iphone using friends are the same, considering android. First and foremost, why? They are getting bored, they are jealous of the endless customisations I can make on my android. Also, consumers are becoming a lot more tech savvy, and slowly starting to realise the limitations that Ios devices have.

Plus the fact that people are getting tired of seeing every tom dick and harry with a iphone and are looking for something different now and not to be a iClone.

Heh, i took on a new member of staff at work a couple of weeks ago. As i was training him and we were taking a break he saw me browsing videos on my SGS3. The thumbnails all playing at the same time like a DVD menu.

He didnt like the fact his three month old 4S couldnt do the same and the fact its screen was so tiny.

He vowed never to buy Apple again.

Iphone sales were down last quarter but that they say was down to delays in keeping up with demand. But the OS has remained unchanged for too long now it's become so boring whereas Android and even Windows has changed too.

And don't forget the same tired old design that been doing the rounds since the first iphone 4 only now stretched a little otherwise practically identical to the older design.

Well thankfully neither Android, WP or iOS are copies.

I had the shock of my life yesterday when i took this picture. For the first time in years, Stuff magazine prefer other phones over anything Apple related.

For those not in the know, Stuff magazine has always been a big promoter of Apple products. I put this change of heart by the magazine down to Apple not giving them a cash back-hander anymore or something.

Original

Very welcome change of heart Stuff !!

I used to read Stuff and T3 mags and I do remember them both very much always biased towards Apple. Android,Windows,BB etc none are copies of iOS. With Apple it's just about the apps, nothing else. It's OS is bland, boring and not changed for years. Yes some say if it ain't broke don't fix it,but it's stagnating slowly. Playing with an iPhone is the most boring thing, your scroll through a few menu icons and there's nothing else exciting to do with it. I even think Sony audio always sounded better than Apple iPod. Very over rated, over priced, boring, bland blah blah blah.
