most of the meme's I encounter were about Justin beiber, can't help it
back on topic:
so PS4 details will be shown at E3 this coming 10th of June, is there a possibility about PSM related stuffs being discussed/announced there as well? seems to me Sony is not serious about Mobile PS gaming :'(
also I love Kaz's transparency and appreciation to our presence as consumers, he's probably one of the most casual CEO's I've seen (at least on the internet)

Still hoping to see Vita OS on more devices! There was a comment from earlier in the year from Sony that they were looking to port Vita OS to other devices, so hopefully we'll be seeing some new tablets or phones. I love Honami and all, but I REALLY wanna play my Vita games on my phone! |

Vita OS would be awesome though I'm personally more excited for Ubuntu, should Sony ventures with the new OS they can unify the user experience across AIOs, tablets and smartphones that were otherwise impossible.
off-topic:
those memes are epic

Interesting interview.
He is relax, fluent in english, opposite of the typical japanese ceo.
Also, at last, a multinational ceo not trying to imitate steve jobs!
Lol guys i like full screen browsing on mobile, it is a shame sony can't do it, but i am sure this won't last long.
In the end, i hope sony takes back control of the software and goes ubuntu, vita os, whatever they want, but deliver an optimised experience.
I am not downplaying the app ecosytem issue. This will be overcome, but not probably not before a few years i agree.
For now i think everybody is simply fighting for survival except samsung and apple, as well as the ones with cost advantages such as huawei, so it may not happen soon. So they do not have much room to spend time on preparing what will come after androidand first need to become profitable and sustainable businesses. |

Samsung has done a marvelous job with TouchWiz, as well as HTC with Sense 5.0. I have played with both and I must these two UI layers are better than Sony's. The advantage of Samsung is the similarity of their UI to IOS,making it the transition easier to Android for previous iOS users. On the other hand, I actually own HTC One, although the UI is looks bland, it is simple to use and professional appearance. With Sony's UI, there's like a transparent layer behind the icons that make the screen look washed-out. Same can be noticed when swiping the menu left to right, or by highlighting an icon, with TouchWiz but it is noticeable the whole time! I hope Sony can fix this issue and also make their UI more simple and straightforward. Also, I hope they can add more hands-free gesture utilizing the front camera, to answer or not a call, etc. hansdfree scrolling down of webpage is pretty useless like the one GS IV I think cause you still have to use your fingers at some point.
Anyway, this is just my opinion. No bashing please! |

Didn't like the fact that a nobody's kitten was placed on top of the alleged Togari device
it should've been our lovely feline

It could become a trend, who knows what animal would be placed on top of Honami or the future XperiaZ tablet's successor
The patent hinged fold/sliding mechanis, on the previous page could be awesome for a next gen hybrid game console smartphone. if Sony will one time revive the Xperia Play line the form factor would be awesome, just that this time they can use touch snsitive keys to avoid crowing the main display of buttons, or it would be awesome to see the rebirth of clamshell design (oh, how I missed them )

I wonder how that similarity came about...
On-topic.
A play 2 would be interesting, but even the 'stupid Sony, give me a play 2' trolls on XB have disappeared, so no one is dying for it anymore it seems. Maybe the silence about psm is a good thing. Maybe they are preparing a secret device to bring it back and highlighting it. Which could be a play 2.

nah why no Vita games? developers should instead develop under PSM's framework so they can target both Vita and Xperia devices (oops HTC may benefit on this as well )

Holy cow, news about Togari spreaded out so fast!
I like how everywhere says it's called ZU because I said so, when it's real name is Z Ultra Sony's going to be so confused if they do decide to have a handset called ZU...
Well, XperiaBlog did say it came from a "trusted source" and they did call it the Z Ultra. This is freaking exciting!

If that's true, that will be perfect.
Hope Sony take our suggestions.
My ideal is:
Honami spec + game pad |
