"As far as the lofty camera expectations, Murtazin shoots them down mentioning that despite all the marketing terms behind the new Exmor RS BSI sensor, the 12 MP camera takes no better pics than the Xperia T, for instance, which means nothing to write home about, and low light photos are trouble. Still, he acknowledges that this is a prototype version, so he didn't post any samples, and comments that the hardwired HDR video mode is a first on a phone and yields pretty good results. "

I can only hope final unit will address those issues, however given its physical pixel size of 1.12 microns, I don't see bright future..
Cheers,
Miki

Phone Arena sucks at translating. Don't trust them lol.
Even Google Translate does better.

PA is full of sh** like always. They got it translated wrong.
This is straight from mobile-review translated by Google.
In comparison with the Xperia T, step back, it uses a 12-megapixel, not 13-megapixel module. The reason for this change is not very clear, especially as the possibility of the sensor installed in the Xperia T, completely and have not been disclosed. At the same time, the pictures are much more advantageous to the C660x those of Xperia T - both in the quality of detail, and by color (even with the readiness of the product).

I thought that there are three camera sensors in the Exmor RS lineup and none of them have 12 megapixels...

@ moogoo and DACHA
I hope that the statement below is true and correct.
04)At the moment, LTE is used for data transfer. In S660x used modem Qualcomm MDM9615, which theoretically allows the phone to work on all the available LTE-frequency, on any network. In the real world, no one device is not set to all frequencies, because this setting will be too expensive, so the version of LTE-phones are different for different networks and countries, and that various modifications of the machine. For C660x is important to note that this is not the case and this is the first truly global LTE-phone, it will work around the world. For many people, this trip will be a pleasant feature of the device.

Yes it's a true global LTE phone...should work on any carrier, pretty much
Thanks for the confirmation. That way I can buy this baby even if at&t doesn't carry it. And software upgrades are also faster when it is open line. [ This Message was edited by: rraz9228 on 2012-12-18 23:01 ] |

12.8 mega pixel (4128x3096) listed in the AnTuTu benchmark for Yuga!
If this is to be trusted I guess it's more a 13 mega than 12!? |
