yes but I don't understand why Sony cannot make something like that (iblazr)for their own devices, would it really be that difficult |

Interesting that the external lens case for Honami seems to have a piece cut out on the exterior to the right of Honamis camera. It's where you might expect an IR blaster to be if it were on the back of the phone.

yeah would be easier to hold the phone at 45 degree angle to use the remote function than point it directly like what a standard remote does. |

Ok here's a question. Previous IR blasters on phones have been easily identifiable as black, glossy spots on the phone. What if Sony's found a way to build an IR blaster that is so well hidden under the glass back of Honami, it's not visible to the naked eye?
Or it could be that is a regional case for Japan.
Or it could just be nothing...
*SIGH* the 4th can't come fast enough! |

i wish they would partner with Leap Motion and Oculus.. at least bump the resolution up to 1080p.. 4K would be the truth though. again to make it a spectacle that everyone HAS to look at. make them talk about it, make them question it.. in the end it will sell. id get one for the PS4 tbh |

4K would be nice, but you'd need the content to go with it, otherwise it'll be no better than 1080p displays. They COULD probably use their X-Reality Pro 4k chips to upscale content to 4k displays, but who knows how well that'd work out on such tiny screens.
I'm hopeful that Sony will eventually either announce support for Rift on PS4, or release their own version tailor made for PS4.
Anyways, just so this isn't all OT, it's worth noting the HMZ-T3 has support for Android smartphones too. Not to mention it finally has wireless options! From the article:
"Our favorite new feature, however, is the ability to plug in Android (presumably Xperia) devices with micro-HDMI / MHL connectivity. The device, via the battery pack, has ports for both full-size and micro-HMDI cables, and given the current influx of HD-capable smartphones (and content), it's a pretty pervasive way to use it."

comic to topic why would not sony release a nfc Xenon flash accessory for Z1,it would be really great idits portable too
AFAIK, it's not possible
NFC will only start the pairing process as it has a very low bandwidth.. so it will connect with BT or WiFi later... the problem here with Xenon flash is latency, speed is not important as the idea is just a trigger... but the problem is latency, you will not be able to sync. the Xenon with the photo in the same time, they will be a delay and more the latency is variable between time, so even if the software can trigger the xenon and delay the photo for the latency. it can't protect the latency at that exact time...
Xenon flash must be triggered by wires or a special wireless tech that has very low latency... in Photography world, the wireless flashes uses their own freq. and not a WiFi or BT network that sends commands, data and ECC codes each time there's a transmit... and also shared between tens of devices in the same time...
