I've had the V for two days and the screen has a very strange yellowish tone, the whites are slightly yellow. The sensor in lens doesn't make any huge difference and viewing angles are poor. Another failed screen by Sony.
Pre Production?
Its IPS so I fail to see how veiwing angles would be poor. In fact its the same display tech used on the One X (SLCD2) if I'm not mistaken.
Meh, its not like it matters that much any more, given that the V will be overshadowed by the Odin and Yuga pretty much as soon as its released.
Since when it's the screen of Xperia V IPS? |

It's a known fact that Sony is making different screens by batches. Shut up if you don't know what are you talking about. |

It's not official app from Sony, and I guess it will be dropped from play store soon duo to trademark and patents
Thought I love it and it only needs dock screens, dock background and the ability to change icons in the dock
Ya ya i know that.I am guessing this is how sony will also give us.
Install SONY UI like the old days JAVA phones apply themes. |

Yes smclion is right. There will no longer be any code alteration from Sony. It will be vanilla android + Sony launcher/theme and sony application apks.
So this way Sony can deliver Google Nexus like super fast android updates as they don't have to change any code but only add drivers, and optimize it.

Yeah, this is my favorite. Can you tell something about dimension (it's bigger, smaller or the same like T or TX) and main camera? Especially, if it's 13 MP is Exmor RS sensor, and we can expect recording with higher fps? I am looking forward to see that smooth recording like in Padfone 2:

Thanks in advance |

One thing, randomuser: Since it will be Vanilla, things like Sony Camera and Small Apps won't be there anymore? Since they rely on Sony Framework...

New to this forum, as in that I have been reading it for some months and now decided to register..
About to buy the Xperia V, but the feeling that I am getting when reading the posts in here is that I will regret it all too soon as the impresssion I am getting here is that big things are coming already Q1 and that Xperia V will be outdated already by the time I get hold of it..
Then again, one can not wait for the "next phone" as there will always be a "next phone" waiting in the pipeline..
(Cud be the reason why I have been hanging on to my rooted X10 for some years now...)

They may end up altering the coding so that it can run on Vanilla Android?
Dunno if its possible though...
