@goldenface - i doubt that would make a comeback. they had to implement that because the x10 didn't have full multi-touch. with it is now, pinch2zoom is much faster than having to wait for that brief second for the 1 touch zoom to kick in. I suppose it'd be nice if it were an option to turn on, but i would imagine if it were a highly desired feature, a lot of browsers would have implemented it already.

We shouldn't be so harsh. Hate the trollish comments, not the (potential) troll.
Anyway, on topic, are there any rugged phones like the successor to the active and go scheduled? |

Samsung indeed knows what consumers want; Samsung ATIV Q is dual boot which is queit awesome. |

How is that related to this thread MartenR?
I hope Honami will be announced before Togari goes on sale so that I know which one to get.
All the phablet reviews showing up everywhere have gotten me extremely keen on one. A Sony phablet of course. |

as much as we should hate copycaters like Samsung, let's not discuss those things on this thread, enough with the OT already
we haven't heard anything from maia over the mystery phone after honami renders started rolling. I wish he could provide us more info about this, reeflotz and I would be willing to re-render it with more details, who knows those two holes might actually be a xenon flash with AF assist lamp similar to C905/K800

Couldn't agree more Razec!
Thanks for raising it I hope Maia sees it before it gets burried.

I saw the videos posted about the plasma light and it's so much brighter and consumes less power! If Sony really incorporated this technology into this phone I will be very happy because I believe in their ability to create new technology advancements. That flash seems to even overpower xenon and the colors made the whole room more natural day color!!! That's what evens photographer wants in a flash!!! Natural looking flash compensation colors!
just hope this rumor is true! And if they successfully made it happen, hope other companies don't copy it. It will mean that sony has created another 1st!
Sony . Make. Believe

@goldenface In the browser (chrome and most others) double tap is the one finger solution to zoom to a specific part of the page. In Google Maps double tap with a slide up or down is the preferred one finger zoom method. Long press is usually used for context menus in dynamic content apps on more recent android versions so is unlikely to be brought back as a zoom method.
I have a dig bick You read that wrong |

Nope. Xperia Go is. Xperia ZR's predecessor is Xperia Acro S and Xperia V. Active's successor is Xperia Go. |
