The Samsung Galaxy S4 could get an earlier than expected outing, with rumours suggesting the Korean firm will launch the handset in March.
According to the Korea Times a Samsung representative said that the Galaxy IV would go on sale in March 2013, after an unveiling at MWC 2013 in Barcelona.
Samsung's part supplies claim the Galaxy S4 could well sport a bigger, 5-inch display up from the 4.8-inch offering on the Samsung Galaxy S3 - along with LTE capabilities and a quad-core processor.

I have seen this on an few sites this morning and if true would be something of a disappointment especially to S3 owners who would see the value of their phones drop faster than normal. If it is true Samsung should wait until May when the S3would have been out a year.
I am going to sell my S2 and get the Note II in December but if the S4 is so close seems like a good improvement over the SGS3 then I would wait for it.
I hope it is not true.

I would personally wait for s4 instead of note 2. But I hope this time the rumors are more believable, because the s3 rumors were way over the top.

The S4 is likely to have:
A15 Cortex Exynos 5 CPU
13MP Camera
2GB RAM
and a 4.8-5inch display with even thinner bezel
The CPU and RAM alone will make it a major leap from S3, as speed, graphics and power+memory management will be greatly improved.

Same here, thought i was going to gun for Note2 but if S4 is this close, there's no point.

This would be a bit too close in time since the SGS3 launched less than a year's that is my concern. The SGS4 needs to be a good power manager as it is getting more and difficult dealing with battery issues. The resolution also needs to be upped to 330 ppi or more if possible. The camera needs to have more details and with less noise. And honestly I don't like the phone being as long as the SGS4 is.
Let's see if its just wild rumours.

I only hope s4 is smaller than s3 regardless of screen size. If its any bigger, then I will not be able to use it as I find s3 to be challenging to use with one hand. Imo s2 seems to be the perfect size in galaxy lineup.

at the rate at which they keep increasing screen size, i give it another 24months, and Samsung will scrap the Galaxy S series and just have Galaxy Note at the high end, thats where it seems to be going.
4.8inch is enough. I just wish they would make a absolute powerhouse now.
i.e. a Galaxy S with a mind blowing camera, Xenon flash, and IP67 certification (water and dust resistant).

Look like an iNote2. I think they have the risk of Apple suing them again. But it still looks pretty sharp and slick. The keyboard isn't something new, but I like the fact that, they've integrated it in a phone accessory.
