I entered a ringtone in to my composer as best I could:

+gp+g+dp+G+Gp+cp+DpGGp+G+d+ap+G+gp+F+e+d+C+D+D

but it sounds crappy.

What do the capital letters mean and how do I enter them in my composer? (I think that I only entered them in as lower case).

Also what do the '+' mean?

Thanks.

This is an emy tone!
If you go to your operators website they often have a login and send sms service paste your emy tone in a sms and send it to your own number and you will get the tone on ya phone.

Doesn't wor 4 me. Most operators adds something in the beggining of sms, i.e. "sms from:". That confuses the phone and u get a text instead of ringtone.

Sorry my bad!

This is how you are suposed to send it in a sms

BEGIN:EMELODY
VERSION:1.0
MELODY:+gp+g+dp+G+Gp+cp+DpGGp+G+d+ap+G+gp+F+e+d+C+D+D
END:EMELODY

PS: This wont work if you do it from a cell phone. You must find a place on the web were you can send sms witout add ons on the sms!

Thanks for the advice.

I can actually receive the information as a sound file now, but when I go to listen to it in 'my sounds', there is no output.

What could be causing this?

Can you explain?

Thanks.

When I try to enter a capital letter I hold down the specific key as instructed, but all I get is a constant string of that particular note.

Is there any way in whichIcan get round this. (Ie change it in the settings?)
