Greetings, i think this is good forum for this thread.
Before update from 2.3 to 4.04, i could find anything on the phone, it just was necesary to slide the keyboard and type a wished application or a contact, and it will find it to you. Now after update, it is almost impossible to find any application by entering their name, i have to look for it manually (it is possible to find only 10% of applications).
And if i am searching in a contacts, i have always to include a large letter in begining, or it will not find it)

Open the "g" Google Search app,
Click Menu, select Searchable Items.
You'll see a list of items and apps that you grant Google Search access to.
Some of these items may become unchecked after the update.
Let me know if this solves your problem

I fixed this with PC COmpanion, i flashed it again with the same software, and now all works fine (only this time it deleted everything on the phone) but ok... | |
