So far i have only watched one full screen video (recorded not streaming) that i downloaded from the my-symbian page link, it`s the Cardigans one, what you do is this;
Send the video file to your P8 (i use BT) instead of saving it just close the flip, this saves it to "inbox" when you want to play it, just tap "messages" then "beamed" then tap on the video title & it should play in full screen.
I originally set my p8 up using the manual file downloads & it worked fine, then when the sis became available i deleted all the files manually & just loaded the sis which also works fine, my p800 is R1B.

You can also save .vic/.vsf format files in any folder in your P800's C or D drive. Using File Manager, locate the files you have saved, tap and play.

I can't make it play videos.. It just displays the Vics logo..
I use the filemanager to select the films.

My software is R1D

http://www.videocoding.com/pocketpc/demo.html

link to watch live things

Some tips for installing the player:

1. install the SIS file in C (not in memory stick)
2. dont click on play only if the movie stopped or paused
3. if you use phone data (9kb/s) use 14kbps video + 13.2 audio.. it
will load faster
4. for big screen pictures choose the 60-80 kbps

a converter to the right format will be avaible soon

btw this is the application which will support the video recording... as an upgrade to the application
