Looks like another result of Elop's plan of ridding Nokia of anything unrelated and unnecessary to Microsoft. hopefully QT wasn't "destroyed" before it's given to digia

I think its just rational, there are not enough reasons anymore to hold on qt. Nokia shifted its goals and they should do whats necessary to steer the company towards that goal. Eliminate all those unnecessary attachments, gear up and focus on their new path.
