Can anyone tell me if there is a way to get an option on picture file size when sending email or MMS?
Sending the full size pic is slow and wasteful, and often unnecessary.

No problems the MMS standard doesn't allow big photo files.
A photo from the X10 Mini(Pro) 5MP camera or downloaded pics will be scaled down to some 320x240 when inserted in a MMS.
Also there is a limit for video-clips length and resolution
Don't know exact terms for sound files sent as part of a MMS but guess even they are limited.
Anyhow the MMS app should warn if you trying to insert Multimedia into a MMS that isn't scaled down or converted automatically... |

Seems odd that the Minis have no user control whereas my old K810 did. |

Have a look at the Google Play Store either on your comp or directly in your X10 Mini, perhaps there is an alternative to the pre installed MMS/Message-app there. |
