K850i DEAD. |

Hi all,
have been out for sometime, but now this is really bad for me. 
My K850i is 'dead'.It was working fine till yesterday, went off all os a sudden
while texting and not ON till then. Tried charging the battery, changed the battery, still
no use.
Also not connecting to A2 uploder.
Any help relating to this are most welcome. Is it time to dump it.?

This must be a bad week for K850 's 
I think you need to go shopping this weekend and start a new relation

@bluechip the batery of ur k850i is removed and u dont notice it because of hardware fault.. clean usb socket of k850i also make sure ur usb connector is working  
can't get my limitation shot ! |

Hahahaha You're right mate. It has been the worst week for k850s.

Yesterday, my k850 also went dead exactly like your way. I was writing text and went off. Then it kept restarting. And i couldn't connect to a2uploader also for two hours. Then today early morning, i cleaned the fast-port and it detected in a2uploader. I flashed it and now it is working again.
Ps. As usual, i am posting this from my k850 only.

Remember, nothing goes for ever. You got to try again with patience. Is your battery charged? Earlier this week, when my phone died first time in this week. I had my both batteries drained out. But i searched google and found one wackiest trick. You will laugh but it worked for me.
Clean your fastport. Rub gently with pencil lead. Lead is good conductor. It will help to connect phone to a2uploader.

Really a big thanks for all your support. But all my effort was in vain, so i decided to quite, had placed an order for
SONY Xperia Sola, now going to use that. But this will be with me, but will continue my effort to revive it, i have informed my friends for spares for K850i.

@bluechip im very sure its because of the housing.. replace full housing.. then reflash..

huf.. after leave my k850 for more than a year and managed to bring it back, and very happy about it...
here i found sad thing about dead k850...
well... nothing last forever....! |
