According to GSM Arena the GS3 has 9 million pre orders  that's beat the iPhone by a massive amount

Thats fantastic news.The more money Samsung make the more money there is to churn out these beauties.I have an upgrade in 14 days on my second contract but I'm gonna terminate it and stick with my G2 for the full 2 year contract.The G3 isn't enough to get me into a frenzy for this upcoming upgrade.And I'm sticking with Samsung for the time being.Looking forward to see what is to come in the future.

Just seems not all that exciting this time to me. Not really liking ICS after having the HTC One V. Don't like the way ICS works. And what's with the tiny icons on that huge screen?? The icons looks too small

No small feet that 9Million pre-orders for 100 international carriers worldwide. But this took just 2wks to accomplish this.

iPhone 4S had 1 million pre-orders in 1 day, and not for 100 international carriers as it did not launch worldwide. If it maintained that 1million for 14days = 14 Million; Samsung wouldn't have competed.

Initially it seemed to exceed maintaining that initial day pre-order ... 4 million in sales in 3days.

its hard to put any weight behind all these facts (iPhone 4S vs SGS3) ... since we're not comparing equal carrier number & country availability roll-out between the two. I WILL say this though ...
should I be waiting in lineup (no I never will) for the next iPhone and I see an employee (male) do this to another guy - I'm not going to stay; heck I may even switch just because.

How stupid this looks!! lol Really tablets dont need point and shoot camera as they just look so funny when using them! Good for skype etc but not still photography even though they are sh1t cameras! |

This phone has got to be the ugliest piece of advanced gadgetry I've ever seen. It's like the Ugly Betty of smartphones. But then again that might just be me as outwardly appearance is subjective plus it should be easily fixed with a nice casing which it would need for protection anyway. The specs is insane!

The one thing i cannot understand is peoples perception of the S3. Personally i dont love its looks, i think its a little boring, but its not really ugly imo by any means. Its just not out there trying to look different or appealing.
Which is strange imo, not what i would have expected from Sammy.

But most Samsung designs are boring. It's the tech inside that is good with Samsung. I cannot think of their best looking handset

Samsung smartphones design, especialy the Galaxy S and Note line seem to be more about the sheer size and slimness combined with high functionality, and a big bright yet highly vivid display. Must say, i kind of like this whole 'no nonsense' approach of theirs, ive found myself realy loving the design of the GS2, it goes together with the whole fast ,lite and functional UI. TW is not to everyone's taste but one undeniable thing is that its a very fast UI, there's no special effects, its all about just delivering what you want in a quick and decent manner, and i think the design of their phones reflects that, they are workhorses, they remind me a lot of how Nokia was with their Nseries smartphones back between 2005-2007, the GS2 being the N95, the GS3 being the N95-8gb and the Galaxy Note being the E90.

I think their best looking handset was the S2. I was expecting the S3 to look like the S2 but sharper and even more cutting edge.
But it didnt. Anyway i'll reserve judgement until i lay my hands on the S3, which will be next Wednesday.

Galaxy Note is best actually imo. Vodafone have confirmed the GS3 has become the fastest selling pre order ever of any Droid handset. And the biggest selling
