I have just uploaded some files, files from my GS2 to the free 50GB storage that Box is apparently giving away to new comers. I am thinking that there has to be a catch to this give away. Am I missing something? Will I be required to pay afterward? What is the catch that I might be missing here.
50GB of free storage is a whole lot.

If I'm not mistaken, they were giving those 50 to Xperia users. Am I missing something?

They are apparently giving the 50GB to Android phone owners. There is a limit in the size of the files of 100MB. The way I see it there is no loss to those whose this free 50GB. There are also paid versions with increase in file size and storage amount among other things.

Thanks for letting us know  got my free 50GB and didn't even need email verification to create an account.
Never used cloud storage before but think this will be very useful!

Tranced, I only signed up on Monday. I believe that the 50GB only started recently like maybe last week. Try uninstalling and doing it with a different email address and see if you can get it.
I just spent the last two hours uploading photos. I am now going to delete some from my phone.
