I have always had a screen protector and case on my iPhone since I bought it, but now I don't know if I can be bothered with the hassle. I am yet to find a decent screen protector and the iPhone feels so much nicer out of the case.

I was wondering how many people on here use a case and/or screen protector. I know a few people who don't bother and their iPhones seem perfectly fine.

My main worry is getting it scratched and battered. Although my iPhone is in pretty good condition you wouldn't know when most of it is covered up by the case. What are peoples experiences with scratches, is it easily done? Has anyone dropped their iPhone without a case? Mine has survived a couple but with the case and screen protector on

I have a Orange Bumper and a Orange Mofi case
Protecting the phone perfectly

Why don't you look about that?
I dislike screen protectors being on my phone
I just use a Microfibre cloth on it!

I dont like the feel of the phone with no case.....Way to slippery for me.So yes i keep my phone in case.
Well it depends to your personal needs. If you like hiking, have heavy duty work, etc. you may want to look into a built case like the Otterbox Defender or the Griffin Survivor. If you are a careful one, you probably don't need a case.

One thing I must say that it is important to take the phone out of the case every few days and clean it. If the phone is left in a case too long, you can scratch it since dirt and debris can get inside cases easily.

Like the look of those mofi pouches but wouldn't be easy to get in and out of my pocket. No case or anything atm, considering going back to my gear4 case although the phone is so much nicer to use case free

I have a silicone case from the pound shop and that's it - the 4/4S doesn't scratch easily anyway, but the silicone case gives it a bit of "bounce" if I drop it, and is much easier to grip (and harder to drop) as well. Also, it's plain black and makes the phone a bit more anonymous in the street - I'm not interested in showing it off..

lol now ive heard it all how lazy is this
btw it is a pain to get in and out in a rush if a call
but those iPhones do gradually get alot of use and fingerprint(ed)
so the Mofi is good for that clinically

I have a Bumper round mine aswell I have never dropped mine (I fear about)
after I saw a Colleage's iPhone at work it was trashed the cost to have it repaired was £100
for the whole front glass

btw its all upto preferences I do hope you manage to choose something
good Griffin are a well known iPhone brand for accessories I bought a Bumper for my iPhone
but it lasted a week and snapped Eek

I use a screen protector and Otterbox Commuter case for my 3Gs. For some weird reason, I find its rugged looks more appealing.
I also intend to hold on to this phone a bit longer, specially after Apple's disclosure that iOS6 would be compatible with it.
