Because he did not need the flash and there was too much light
Some users better learn the camera first before they criticize it

Does the u have any protective film on top of camera lens? I really think that problem could be due to it but not because of sw or hw issues. I think he should check on it..

When you take the Xperia U out the box there is a small blue film over the lens to remove. But I have not had that issue. But what I shall say is that the camera lens is very recessed so it cannot get scratched but dust & stuff can get trapped inside where the lens is. So just to clean it take off battery cover that is all. I never got that washed out over exposed flash shot on my shot of Wall-E did I?? No.
Whoops, think my finger slipped on the camera button today in the hot weather

With the many apps removed that Sony puts in that I don't want alot less crap is running in the background. Upon boot up & when in standby mode I have alot of RAM left

OK am happy to report that so far had no issues with the Xperia U found no bugs. Nice one Sony!! Excellent quality for a budget device!! Had it nearly two weeks Here some more pics with it's nice LED.
Sorry for crap quality as the old camera I was using takes rubbish pics. Anyway for a cheap but good quality dual core phone at a bargain price Sony has done well. Just a pity about the SD card slot ommision but I am ok with that till I save some more money & get the Xperia P

Bonovox,
I've noticed you have bought your self an SGS3. Are you still using your Xperia U or is it put in the drawer ? |
