Thats pretty good for low light! Its nice to hear about the battery life too.. Just worried how sony will treat the ics update to the U now.. They dropped the 4.0 update for play..

Yes and am seriously not kidding I use it alot during the day and battery is lasting well into past midnight before it gives up. Sony must have known what they were doing putting in a small battery. I wonder if any other Xperia batteries will fit my Xperia U??

Thats impressive! You might be able to fit in the ray's battery maybe? I think its shorter but the width might be similar.
Btw, I just read this over at xperia blog.. The U will get ics late q3!

Quote from slashgear "By far the most irritating issue, however, is the visible digitizer grid that’s prominent on white backgrounds and webpages."

Only a little mostly in sunlight but not that bad. Also it's the same with many new Sony handsets I have seen. I can hardly see it that much. It was the same on the Ray you can see it a little but I just read that review and they do exaggerate a bit. You can barely see it on white background even looking closely. Only bright sun you can see it

Because he did not need the flash and there was too much light
Some users better learn the camera first before they criticize it
