my father and his brother had 4000 stocks and they sold 2000 of them last week. (when they looked on the internet they saw they would get around £8000 each but when they went to the bank to collect the money the bank-man told them that the stocks had been "split" ????

(it was no big deal for them, i just thought it sounded weird).................anyway, from getting £8000 they got around £220

how funny the stock world can be

My phone history @ was like this:

T610 - Great Start!!!! I have to say thank you to my wife for the fantastic Xmas present!!!!
K750 - Still have it. The best!!!!
W660 - It was good.
W880 - Hated it!!!!
C902 - I still want another one......
Satio - .........the worst phone I ever had!!!!
Xperia arc S - Actual phone and I can tell I love it! I even have 2 of them. One pure white and one midnight blue.

Since the first one I never wanted another brand.
It's sad to see the end of it......

But sooner or later, Sony will be my next one.

Like a lot of people my first SE was the T610. Bought it second hand off somone at work to replace my nokia. Liked SE so much I upgraded to a teeny tiny one that I can't remeber the name of. My T610 was passed on to hubby.

After teeny tiny phone I got a W550 - the swivel one. Teeny tiny was passed to Mum. W550 was a much better phone than it was given credit for. Have some really good photos and I did actually like the swivel. Loved that phone.

Wanted a better camera so went for a W890. Nice enough but actually prefered the W550. Was going to swap back but had given the W550 to my 13 year old son and he forgot to take it from his pocket before jumping into the pool on holiday.

My next phone was the vivaz - disapointing on all levels. The W890 went to my mum. Vivaz was doing my head in so was plucking up the courage to justify splurging on a new phone when my hubby washed it in my trouser pocket... good excuse to buy a new one.

The arc had just been released so that is my current phone. (Incidentally vivaz worked again after a 6 month drying out. Just very laggy. Gave it to son (now 18 years old and he broke the charging point) Love the arc but frustrated that Jelly Bean is being released and I haven't even got ICS yet.

I have just bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 which should arrive in the next couple of days. Hubby has an iphone (much to my disgust) and I think the arc will be going to mum.

Sad to lose SE.

My first was a T68i (the first phone). I then went on to the following:
T610
P800
P910i
S700i
W800i
V800i
K800i
W880i
P990i
After the P990i I went to the Nokia N95 as it had nearly everything at the time and there was no phone to match it.
To me phones were innovative, stylish and well built to start with but gradually became like any other phone maker and lost their innovative edge.
