I clicked by mistake on a movie and while it was buffering, I tried to switch applications (cuz I didnt want to watch it and wait 2 mins for it to buffer the Futurama episode) and my screen went completely white and stopped responding.. even the off button wldnt work
how come and is there a way to stop buffering?

I guess you were watching one of my clips, i dont think it is possible to skip the buffering part and trying to skip it just freezes up the screen. the movieplayer always buffers 8,33 % of the clip (about 2 minutes on a 22minute futurama episode)
Somebody told me that a future firmware upgrade would make the buffering part not necessary, really hopes so, cuz the buffering is really annoying!

I got my P800 upgraded yesterday and it doesn't buffer movie clips at all now it seems. A 3.5 minute clip (Mike's new car) started playing the instant I hit the play button instead of after at least 10-15 seconds of buffering with the earlier firmware version.
Cheers
