hi...
i want to buy a touch type phone with a video that stores in mpeg4 format...
i dont' know what ' video capture ' means exactly...

Video
Video cameras Main camera
5 megapixel
Video recording: QCIF, QVGA, VGA in H.263 and MPEG4 format
Video codecs and formats
Video Player: H.263 level 45, MPEG4 encoding + decoding in QCIF resolution (simple profile, level Ob); H.264/MPEG-4 AVC
Video playback: SQCIF, QCIF, QVGA, VGA in H.263, H264 and MPEG4 Video sharing and playback Video player

the above is specs from nokia asha 300 ... as you see it reads ' video recording : qcif .... and mpeg4 format...
does this mean that even a dummy like me can make this phone store the videos i film in mpeg4 format very very easily ? ...
i want mpeg4 so i can put it directly to my puter and dont' have to chase codecs or other players to play other formats...

Video camera
Video capture in QVGA at up to 30 fps and VGA at up to 30 fps
Video clip length: dependent on available free memory
Settings for white balance and colour tone effect
Zoom up to 4x digital
Video codecs and formats
MPEG-4, H.263, H.264, 3GP
Video file format: 3gp
Video sharing and playback
MPEG-4, 3GP: H.263 and H.264 codecs
Support for download, streaming and progressive download
Support for .nfl (FlashLite content) video

the above is specs from nokia x3 02 ...
as you see it reads ' video capture in qvga etc. ...
then under that it reads ... video codecs and formats ... mpeg-4 .... etc...

does all this mean i can make it store videos i film in mpeg 4 format and is it easy to make the phone do that for a dummy like me ?

there are other touch type phones around $200 which is the most i want to drop into a drain because i'm very clumsy..
and phones of other brands don't have the detail on line as well as this site ... europe.nokia.com/...

i've been searching and asking people for months but no one seems to know

i'd really appreciate help... tx in advance for your time ...

Video capture means recording videos. If you really want to buy a phone for video recording, then I suggest xperia neo, it has 8mp camera hd video recording with good low light performance, and should be like 250-280$ Or else xperia mini pro which has full keyboard, 5mp camera and hd video recording. Both phones save videos in .mp4 format.
