If you really want to buy a phone for video recording, then I suggest xperia neo, it has 8mp camera hd video recording with good low light performance, and should be like 250-280$ Or else xperia mini pro which has full keyboard, 5mp camera and hd video recording. Both phones save videos in .mp4 format. Xperia T + N 96 R.I.P Desire
