A recent survey by iGR shows that the reputation of Google is an important factor when users are selecting Android as the smartphone OS. The survey showed that 45% of the customers in the US was doing research before choosing an OS. 27% of users considered the reputation of Google when buying an Android smartphone. They believed that Google was a "reputable company" and therefore have trust in Android as well. Samsung is the perfered brand of those manufactures offering Android smartphones. The Korean company is followed by Motorola, HTC and LG. The two Chinese brands ZTE and Huawei was ranked at the bottom. via, source |
