I'm trying to use my SIM card from Brazil in the T-Mobile network, but it appears not to work. My phone tells me: Emergency only. I wonder why is that. The phone is unlocked and detects 2 networks, T-Mobile and AT&T(Locked), but none of them seem to work. Can anyone help me?

Good to know they have an agreement, but I do have an international subscription to TIM, because when I left Brazil I bought the worldwide plan. Maybe if I call TIM in Brazil?

check ur settings with call barring, it might have been blocked by u some time ago.UNLESS ur operator has no agreement.Or it might be a prob with the sim-sometimes they get stuck in the home hetwork, it a problem with the roaming registry.when u get to the states even if u have an agreement and u can use the t-mobile network it won't log on to it.TIM brasil has to reset the VLR ( virtual location registry) from TIM brasil so u can restart ur phone and use the foreign network.hope this helps
