Well if it wasn't for the yellow tint/yellow spot on the last three that I have had I would be a happy man. Will be on my fourth handset come Wednesday.

Wish me luck guys.

So they already gave you 3 units with the same yellow spot on each of them?

It my 5th Xperia S already the shop that i bought my phone is getting irritated because when i return the item the yellow tint isnt on the screen

first one had the yellow tint and hotspot- second had the yellow tint running down left and right hand side of display as well as at the bottom, and my current handset has the hotspot or yellow spot. Have now decided to return it Sony tomorrow to be looked at. Don't hold out that much hope that if I exchanged it again tomorrow that I will be any more fortunate than before. Apart from all this I really like the phone a hell of a lot.

A shock with the screen than.
I also have it. It's not really annoying and visible mainly on grey, never on black. On white too.
I wonder if it can get worse.

Because I love the phone and would like to keep this one, just because I don't have time..... They give me another device without a problem.

Mine was apparently picked up at 4am this morning or something and will be with me tomorrow afternoon.

I am not convinced it can get from WA to NSW in about a day but I'm praying it does because I won't get it till Tuesday otherwise.

That's awesome though, congrats. Atleast they have accurate delivery estimates.

Any yellow screen issues?

Delighted. I'm regularly getting at least 36 hours from the battery, the screen is stunning and it's speedy and lag free. You?

Had my S now for about 3 weeks, in a brief summary:

What I like:
- Speed - very slick, experienced a few brief lags on the gallery, but nothing on the actual OS itself, it may be GB but it's very snappy and optimised;
- Camera - very fast and pleasing results - after seeing the HTC One X camera I would still say the XS has the edge slightly.
- Screen - such a joy to use.

What I dislike:
- ICS delay - goes without saying!
- Battery - really awful at the moment (but a fix will come in time);
- Port flaps - total waste of time.

I had my Xperia S for two days and already I'm tired of the USB port flap.
Really stupid decision there...

Also the battery is really bad too, and I don't understand why. I listen to music for 40 mins and boom down to 60%...

Good thing is the battery will be fixed by a firmware update.

The battery life will improve with a few recharge cycles. I'm happy with mine.

Seems to improve with version .67 and gets even better (much better) with version .73 as reported by others.
