Look, they had swooshing curves and everything last year when most of the Xperias looked very similar as well. This year they have a more monolithic/minimalist design language and I actually quite like it. I'm sure they'll try something different next year.

This Kumquat is too small to look good whereas the Xperia S is nicely proportional. There are a few for announcement at MWC which isn't far off, then you'll be able to define what goes in which segment. There will be some quad core competition there but I'm not sold on them yet. Ideally, something a bit smaller than the Xperia S should go down well. In terms of design, how much can you do when phones are dominated by their massive screens, there isn't much else to play with but there will be an eye-catcher at the event. |

Dunno if this has been posted. Shows the new UI of the 2012 android-line, none of the hands-on videos seems to have had the final software. The new UI seems more heavily skinned and is really cool!

edit. Also shows the new timescape in the end! (looks really good!)

yeah the UI does look really good! IMHO i think it is the most polished and classy looking skin on android compared to what the other manufacturers have out there! really looking forward to see their ICS UI....really hope they upgrade the 2011 range to this UI as well |

Wow, the new UI does look fantastic! I was pleasantly surprised by the custom Album app and the new Timescape!

The ST25 looks great in the smaller form-factor but I'm a bit worried that it isn't a bit thinner as doesn't look much thinner than the Xperia S in those pictures and might feel a bit chunky in the hand - despite the human curvature.

The mini versions have always been on the chunky side.

When you're coming from where I am - Symbian - any UI that isn't Symbian looks fantastic.

Yup that's what chinese rumors are suggesting but then those are just rumors. The reason why I think Hayabusa will have this CPU and not S3 is cuz :
1) It will be the first all Sony smartphone. And if Sony is going to be following Sony Ericsson strategy of using outdated CPUs then the whole Sony Ericsson acquisition itself would seem pointless.
2) Also why would Sony launch a model with same CPU as the Sony(Ericsson) 2012 flagship for a HIGHER price 4 months later ? They could instead just have made the Ion global if it was just LTE they wanted to offer.
3) Hayabusa is a global LTE device and MSM8960 comes with LTE radio integrated, so its quite likely Sony would choose it over others like Nvidia Tegra 3 and TI OMAP 4470.

Well, I really appreciated on such a performance shows today by Snapdragon S4. Finally, They did it!! they proved me wrong at the end which is major improvement.
Anyone notice that S1 / S3 rather have low-performance but instead S2 and S4 is perform quite well.
