is there a difference between HD reality display and HD display?

The specs for the U says HD, but pixel resolution isn't HD (i.e., 720)..

I Doubt it.Pretty sure expect Xperia S we wont see any 12mp phones in 1H.

i really wish they had implemented the whitemagic technology into all of the 2012 models... wouldn't that be a huge selling feature to market as an advantage over other manufacturers?

Nobody has see the actual use of White Magic but just official info on the screen i guess they will add the screen later after general reviews .

Dunno if this has been posted. Shows the new UI of the 2012 android-line, none of the hands-on videos seems to have had the final software. The new UI seems more heavily skinned and is really cool!

No, that means that Ericsson's creativity is gone forever! No more beautifully designed phones with sleek and stylish curved lines, only ugly angular bricks.
The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand...
