Loving these Music Player pics, considering the music player one of the most important things for me on a phone, looks like they are doing it properly now that they have been absorbed by Sony (not that it was ever especially bad before, but the SE Android music player is nothing compared to a real Walkman)

I hope they have Gapless Playback, good format support (the Sony tablets support FLAC and WMA Lossless I believe), proper display of Album Artists, Clear Stereo etc

I cannot wait.

It's metro-esque. But then again so is most of what's new in ICS's UI. It's a design trend, really.

Just like glossy icons/toolbars/etc. were a few years ago.

So i think the Android camp must prepare for a new patent infringement suit from MS I don't really find it a bad thing but honestly the tech world is very much aware of this unhealthy patent war that things like this can no longer go unnoticed. honestly

I've read an article somewhere that the combined patents of Sony, Ericsson and covers 1/3 of the total mobile patents. This is also the reason why Apple don't file lawsuits against

they can't sue for patent infringement over the look of the icons. that's protected by copyright. While it may look similar, it's not close enough in my opinion to be copyright infringement.

anyway... 8 more days!!!!

Wait... One nice week? i can't wait!!!! I can't wait to throw the super Nozomi specs over my friends and my teacher face. One friend have Galaxy SII, but don't install custom ROMs or root it. Another friends have iPhone 3GS, and think that thing is better than my X10 Mini Pro. I can do the same things on stock as he can do jailbroken. And my teacher have iPad 2, the same thoughts that my friend who has the iPhone have.

OMG. i can't wait to put my future Nozomi and Transformer Prime on their faces.

LOL, I wrote all of this? And, i am in love with the new music player. Hope they unlock the bootloaders soon for their devices.

I think we shouldn't expect any less from SGIII.

I'm not expecting anything ground breaking from SE. Not until later in the year.

I believe they're probably trying to just sit tight and not lose ground whilst changing over to full Sony branded devices.

These last SE devices will probably be just place-holders with mixed up upbringings and ethos in terms of hardware, design and software.

Maybe even end of the year with the first gen of fully fledged Sony devices we might not see them really stretching their legs. We shouldn't be really judging Sony until mid-late 2013 and just see what happens until then.

Whatever happens and whatever is released I'm certain there will be some surprised faces.

Personly I dont mind the specs. If I compare my ARC with a SGII, I would choose my ARC without hesitating. I think the user experience on the SE is far more nicer than Samsung. Specs aren´t everything. I love my ARC even without dualcore!
I certainly hope that SE:s ICS 4.0 will lift the user experience to new levels!

I have or have direct access to neo, arc ang gs2. I much prefer SE UI and design, but they loose by far in camera (photos, mainly) and ram dept. You can't have loads of widgets and folders on a 512mb android phone, after using maps or browser I often have to wait 20second for my homescreen to load. So if, for example, Nozomi or Ion or whatever gets 1gb ram and Sammy 1.5 or 2, I will not choose Sony/SE again.
