i need peeps with 3d modems for testing something. don't pm, post here.
requirements: cellc
preferably hauwei
putty (NOT brown clay stuff, the PC APP!)
no money, no airtime lol
i reserve the right to choose whom to test on.

@subs: dude, you're never on when i'm on. just make sure you have putty to talk to your modem and ask it some questions lol. also, is your k3765 hauwei or ZTE?

ok so since im not on blacknessweb (lol),here goes nothing:
first you plug in modem
then find out what port it is
then you open putty (not clay putty packet lol)
then you talk to modem and ask :AT +CGEQNEG=?
three things may happen
1):error. in that case your modem sucks big ass in is probably no good.
2): () in that case maybe same as 1
3): you'll get i list of stuff. pm me the list of stuff
also in your modem's "extra init coms" try this:
AT +CGEQNEG: 1,2,1984,0,1984,0,0,1500,"1E4","1E5",0,1000,3
(note:this is for hummer and mary only. i only have e220 and have no desire to
upgrade since custom firmware rules)

how do i find out what port the modem is and how do i talk to the modem and ask be more clearly on how to do this some of us dont know how to find what port the modem is and how to talk to the modem and ask. |
