How livedock activates landscape in the home screen |

Hi, so the Livedock is pretty cool but looking at the price of it I decided it was too dear so I set out on creating a cheap option. I purchased an OTG USB TO Micro USB as well as this pretty cool suction pad phone holder off ebay
Everything works great (keyboard and mouse connect flawlessly so all good) however one thing I noticed in the livedock videos is when they plug the phone in the homescreen goes into landscape mode, and I am trying to figure out how to do this mannually. The only current possible way to do this when plugging it into the TV via HDMI, but I would like to know how the phone knows to rotate when the livedock is plugged in is there an application I can install to make it do this.
ta  and to anyone looking to hook up their keyboard and mouse or gamepad I'd recommend this very cheap option!

ya it is a very good option indeed(USB OTG) but the only problem for me that I did not get any updates. I'm still on 2.3.3 and not even the updated 2.3.3 which includes XLoud and stuffs. And even the list of kit that you posted didn't contain my one..so i guess i'll forever be stuck with 2.3.3........sigh.....!  |

Don't lose hope! Where in the world do you live, and is your phone branded? My kit wasn't listed in the list either but I got the update, and if you've had updates in the past the likelihood is that you'll get it eventually.

I live in Asia,Bangladesh. I did not recieve any update at all and i bought this phone from the US,from a retailer,and no its not branded. and I DID NOT RECIEVE ANY UPDATES BEFORE AND im in 2.3.3 without any lock screen animation ,xloud and Facebook integration. I dont get it do i need to shout out to  that update the phone for me...... |
