You can't directly install java apps. There might be some way to have java emulator and then go, my advice tho, say goodbye to java apps. There are more and better apps on market.

Well there is a possibility to run the Java application, if you are using Android 1.5 to 2.3. If you want to use Java applications on your Android, you can download and install JBED Android Java Emulator.

JBED is an .apk application that allows you to run .jar and .jad games and application on your Smartphone. You can easily download and install it on your Smartphone to run any Java applications...

hi copy your j2me app or download it.
1 From the home screen , open application list and select java Me Apps.
2 Select an application if it is not listed there.
you can press the button with an up arrow that is just above the calling button (Green Button for making a call though it is not green in this case). It will scan all application in your SD card and display all java application present there. you can install your application from the list.. hope it helps .. You can even search your handset manual . i read all information from the same. and now i am able to run java me app on my Android phone..

Hey guys ,when i did it last time it was done all correctly but now--I tried this on my brother's phone..... I have installed it and done all the things but all it says is compiling and nothing ever happens. How long does this compiling take? What should i do now??
