@Bono
Good, sharp shot there. Seems there's no softening of the lower left corner of your image. Don't you have this problem? It appears in most of my photos but disappears in the rest, dunno what to make of it. Should I replace it?

No I don't have the issue. Inside my Arc S it says it was made wk02/12 so early this year it was made so a newer batch. Guess you should get it replaced. You obviously have a bad lens issue. Love the phone and images are not as bad as you think. You can get decent shots

Does not seem to be any focus issues that I can see on mine. I think in sunlight the shots are very good. If you click on them full size they look sharp

Anyone got tips on making the panorama actually work? Every time I try using it I get so frustrated I just give up

Hold steady & never go too fast. That's all I can say as I manage to do it as one of my previous photos above

Yeah I noticed, but how to pan exactly? Like do you rotate your whole body, or just the arms

I hold a stance at right angle with the centre of the view and rotate my body from left to right from the waist up. Looks funny but the result is more than satisfactory. Btw, I think the built in sweep panorama sucks so I reverted back to X10's Panorama Beta as it gives me more control and quality seems to be better

Shot with Arc S using Panorama Beta

I'm currently having my Arc S fixed for the blur issue, missing it even more that I'm using my wife's puny X10 mini pro

I am loving my Arc S now except the latest firmware has poor battery though still easily lasts a day with quite heavy usage.
