I have had a few of these cables blowing up (big bang at the cig plug) or fried batteries.
They are advertised as suitable for 12v & 24v. Seems they look the same in Malaysia or UK.
Anyone actually measured the output voltages of these things? My car has constant 14v at the lighter socket. |

By the way, Ericsson original cost RM200, and the cheap & cheerful cost RM25.
Even the Ericsson guy were not too happy about selling the cable to me - something to do with my car they say. |
