Well I've had the last straw with SE. I had a nag icon saying there was a software update for a while, and gave in yesterday. Wish I hadn't.

Started the update process and as it was starting to write the update, low and behold PC Suite CRASHED on me and the phone refuses to turn on now. It now says 'Sony Ericsson' as normal and an error message.

Tried to flash with Davinci and wasted 8 quid, didn't work said there was an error. So pissed off.

Can anyone help?

Tried, won't even give me the option to update software. It detects a phone has been plugged in though.

On the PC companion, click again on Phone Update and but instead of reinstalling the software normally click 'repair' instead and follow the on screen instructions there. That should fix it.

If you email Davinci you could possibly get a refund or at least the credits back if you tell them that it didn't work, then you could use them to debrand your phone (if it's branded) or something.

Email davinci and explain. In the time being try seus again. There should be an option like repair or overwrite or update anyway.

I got a refund from Davinci once but they are a pain sometimes. The very first time I tried to de-brand a phone I installed the wrong firmware so they refunded me. I installed 3UK firmware on an Orange phone by mistake Anyway, good luck

Right all working again!

Downloaded the SEUS program and it sorted everything out. For gods sakes SE sort out your customer service side of things, this software should be on the front bloody page of the site, I actually found it buried in google search results.

Defo gonna move after this phone as much as I love my Mini Pro, iPhone4S is calling me.
