Apple sells 4 million iPhone 4S in three days |

Apple today annouced that they have sold over 4 million iPhones 4S since the launch date on October 14th

Impressive numbers. 4 million iPhone during three days is the same as 15 units per second. Of course the rush is highest now just days after the release, so this pace will be lower as days goes by. But first, the iPhone 4S will be available in 22 new countries on October 28. A we are guessing the iPhone sales will reach a all time high the few days after these launches. It is natural to compare the sales figures of the iPhone 4S with the iPhone 4 which was released in June last year. During the first four days, they first edition of iPhone 4 sold 1.7 million copies. Apple CEO at that time, Mr. Steve Jobs said "This is the most successful product launch in Apple's history". If he was still alive, he could have repeated that statement today. Apple is a company of few words. They tend to communicate with the press with just a couple of press releases per year. The rest you hear about Apple are speculations and possibly controlled leaks. But when it comes to the iPhone, Apple are keen to let us know how it is selling. It is understandable, because the iPhone is selling really well despite the relatively high price of $649 for an unlocked 16 GB version. |

 ah don't let it bother you. Nothing you can do about it unless you had the money to buy every Sony Ericsson phone to make huge sales. GSM Arena says on the same day Samsung Galaxy Family has sold 30,000,000

Those are truly amazing numbers, for any product. And to think that Apple make 70% margin on every device... they are laughing all the way to the bank

Sold... or "Shipped"?
Samsung was discovered to have fudged their original tablet's claimed "sales" by quoting units shipped... units that never sold and are just stuck at their respective distributors warehouses.

Samsung was discovered to have fudged their original tablet's claimed "sales" by quoting units shipped... units that never sold and are just stuck at their respective distributors warehouses.
with major Korea company always in fraud case...I will not trust it...plus that's Galaxy family vs a single product.
They have so many galaxy stuff in the family and Apple...even if one feel they bluff the figure. Just look at the crowd at their shop...its a proof they have a good sales....while Samsung...I just don't see people queue up for Samsung stuff....EVER!!!! so who I trust....period I trust Apple more on the numbers which is AWESOME number |

I bet most of these people are 3GS, 3G and early iPhone 4 users.
They have been waiting for iPhone 5.
Their contracts have been ended and waiting to get iPhone 5.
They have bought plenty of iPhone application during their usage of their Phones.
That will explain the numbers.

The Galaxy family does not only include these high-end phones and tablets, but also cheap phones like Galaxy Europa ad Galaxy Gio, which are sold for appr. 150 euros or even less.
