iPhone 5 lost in bar - or just a stunt? |

ComputerWorld blog
Apple is said to have lost another iPhone field-test unit in a bar. And so the Web goes into "iPhone 5 release date" overdrive. This time, the portable prototype was left in a San Francisco watering-hole by an errant employee, who is presumably seeking a new position as we speak. However, there do seem to be some holes in the story. In IT Blogwatch, bloggers smell a rat...

That just sounds like a blatant set up clearly what happened last time gave the iphone 4 lots of free exposure so Apple are looking to achieve the same again?..One would assume they would have learnt from what happened the first time and make sure that never happened again but i think Apple are upto their dirty tricks again. |

Oh Apple c'mon now.
Why do they need to do this? Are they worried that the iPhone5 wont be as great as expected? They are APPLE, such trickery is not required, they could rebadge the iPhone4 to 5 and say it has an extra pixel on its screen and it will still sell like hotcakes!

The story broke the day after the galaxy x2 releases were announced in America. Think it was just a reminder to the prospective buyers that the iPhone 5 won't be far away |

I agree. I must admit that Apple are very good at marketing. Isn't it going to be named iPhone 4S by the way? Or will they launch two phones? iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 |

Rumours are all over the place from what I can gather. Hopefully it's both. As there seems to be a pretty even split between iPhone users wanting a bigger screen and those that don't . But there seems to be conflicting rumours every single day. Me I hope there is a bigger screened iPhone announced ideally 4.0inch screen. But I'm gonna until all the cards are on the table before deciding my next phone |

Seems abit mellow but why would any company give out test sets for employees to take home in the first place
usually a test set would be given to divisions directors in that company or for official shows before release.
does all seem very tedious, but its almost the 7th of september so im sure Masseur is looking
well excited for this date to arrive aren't you
