It's been billed as 'the best office building in the world' and, so far, it seems Apple's new HQ is living up to the hype. These incredible images show exactly what the firm's new Apple Campus 2, in Cupertino, California, will look like when completed in 2015.Appearing as a giant saucer, amidst a dense jungle of trees, the 175-acre Silicon Valley site near the 280 Highway will house 13,000 staff.

Here are some nice renderings of what the site will look like plus the Site Plan and Landscaping and the floor plans.

I'm actually really glad that it isn't Apple shaped.

Would have looked nicer though if it was more of a giant glass cube like some of its stores.

So just how big is this Apple Campus going to be? Here’s a rough overlay* showing the Apple HQ, the Pentagon, and top to bottom: a cruise ship, a U.S. nuclear aircraft carrier, what looks like a U.S. Navy Blimp, a WWII battleship, the Empire State Building and a supertanker. So there you have it. Apple’s spaceship is larger than the Pentagon, Empire State Building, and roughly two WWII-era battleships laid end-to-end.

Looks great, i would have expected it to be apple shaped also. It does look rather simple and not very apple related in any way. I hope they have a means of transport for the staff such as a tram or golf carts. Its enormous !
