Watch out for certain batches of Neos |

I've just had my suspicion kinda confirmed. I think there are batches of Neos out there of a lower quality than other Neos.
I tried 2 Neos that both had insanely lower volume of audio in video-recordings than the Arc models I'd also tried. A few forum members here at Esato said that I'd had bad luck, because they were sure the Neo wasn't suppose to be like that.
But looking at the GSMArena first look, page 4, there were 2 example videos that also had this low audio. So at that point I accepted Sony Ericsson Xperia Support's "explanation" that "It was a different model from Arc".
But then just now I noticed that when GSMArena did an actual review, they did another video-recording sample, and this time the audio was just as fine as Arc. Check it out at Page 6 of the GSMArena review of Neo.
So what to make of this? I think it definitely confirms that there are batches of Neo out there that doesn't act like the others. Then we can guess what the reason is. I'm guessing Sony Ericsson bought lower-quality components for some batches because they couldn't get their usual components from Japan. |

Possibly, but I do not recall I have red anyone else have problems with the record sound, so I would guess there can't be that many lemons out there with this issue or perhaps your ears are more sensitive to the issue than other NEO owners. |

No doubt I'm more picky than most.
But those who are picky like me, are the ones following a forum like this. |
