SEUS not updating my phone |

Hi there,
i have SE k550i, in past had done flashing with my phone to w610 firmware,
after some time i revert to the k550i firmware(R6BC002),
and now i'm trying to update my phone (via SEUS) it says "your phone have already latest software"
so friends advice me how to update to latest firmware.

Delete old SUES and drivers.
Restart PC.
Install new seus and drivers.
Update your phone.

I think you customized your phone in some way and you uploaded a customize_upgrade.xml that cleared the CDA information from your phone, thus SEUS can't update. The solution would be to find the CDA number for your zone and write a customize_upgrade.xml with the CDA info. , then SEUS will surely update.

Yes, I did flashing with XS++ (replaced with W610 firmware) and now reflashed to k550 firmware (R6BC002).
so tell me how to uploaded a customize_upgrade.xml or send me customized .xml file, i live in india so what is my CDA region number.

There is the list of K550 CDA-s . Then open notepad and fill the number with your CDA :
CDA list K550
Get the customize file here customize_upgrade.xml
Then you upload the file to your phone (TPA-PRESET-CUSTOM)
Then SEUS will update.

After xml file upload my phone searched the FOTA update succesfuly (its size 1399kb), after downloading the update just before it gives error 'varifiation error' 
What is next...

Wtf !!!  If it downloaded the update it's not a CDA problem anymore...I've never encountered this problem before ... 
Try to update straight from the phone (menu>settings>update service>search for update) or use the "repair" option in PC Suite.
Another solution that will surely work is to use Omnius Server and flash manualy. The registration is free and you can get the firmware (main and file system) from their website once you completed the registration .

you can try wotan, it's free too and simple as seus, it allows to choose desired language and sw, you don't have to know cda nr.

I think my Hazel has the same problem. My phone says that the current software version is 1231-9304 R7CA064 100708. I just wanted to know if I the correct cda-number is 1231-9304 and cda-revision R8A. |

That depends on the region you are in . The CDA info tells SEUS what firmware to download to your phone, if branded or not and what languages should be available.

After customizing I got 3 problems:
- I can't update or repair the phone with SEUS and PC Suite. The update service in the phone menu also gives an error.
- When I connect the phone to a computer with USB cable, it asks me to install PC Companion, although I already have one. Reinstalling also doesn't help.
- MyPhoneExplorer can't connect even when I'm using Bluetooth, although PC Suite can.
I got R8A from Omnius and 1231-9304 when I checked firmware version from my phone. Is it possible that uploading this CDA information will fix those problems?
EDIT: I tried it. It didn't fix the problem.

i tried to update from cell phone (Menu>settings>general>update software)
but it is giving same error "varification failed"

I updated with wotan server to its latestest firmware (R8BA024).
but after update i still think that for future it can't be updated via SEUS,
it seems like flashing with XS++ or any other software.
i also wanna know after using wotan server, can i use SEUS for future updates ?

I suggest you use Omnius.
Install Omnius then above, on the left side select your phone. Now press the "flash" button and a menu appears.
On the bottom it says "Preform default customization" , select "generic India" and then ok. Connect the phone and you're done. Update via SEUS.
Oh and before you do any of these you need to create an account and the first thing after that, when you open Omnius, you have three buttons above (Actions, Server, Omnius). Select "Server" then "Server Settings" and input your user name and password. Then go back to "Actions" and follow what I wrote above . Cheers
