I'm quite interested to see, and thought this would be a good idea, also please post the date you bought it

I got mine a couple of days ago brand new unopened, but was second hand. The date of mine is 11w23 which took me by surprise as that is only last month (6-12 of June!) which must of meant a pretty fast shipping...

How old is yours? Lets try and find the person with the oldest date and the newest

This information can be found under the battery cover where it will be written in the form **w##
where:
** will be 11 for 2011 (or maybe even as old as 10?!) and

Arc #1 was 11w13 (went wrong, battery %age would drop from 40% to 0%)
Arc #2 was 11w19 (stolen)
Arc #3 is 11w23
...Silver Xperia Arc, 32GB SD card...

I wonder if the manufacturer date could be related to certain faults e.g. some batches are prone to issues such as the cracking of the casing around the light proximity sensor? I remember with the C905 the earlier ones had much more of an ear piece issue...
