Can someone help me I have a Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit pc. But I am starting to really hate Windows Media Player. It seems to always play up & force close. And it also keeps randomly stopping music play back. Can someone tell me the best media player I can find to play all my music & videos on my pc. Also, I have a fast pc which plays AVCHD video format fine via WMP(am using AVCHD due to it's my Sony cams format). But are there any of these media players that also play AVCHD aswell?? Thanks if anyone can help

No it's not. It's its name. Download it and it'll play all formats available.

Ok cool thanks for that. Amazing I never heard of it. I am unsure if WMP in Windows 7 is just buggy. It's really crap.

I've not experienced it as buggy. Though I use Winamp for music playback and Windows Media Player Classic for videos.

Gom Player.

Loads out there, VLC plays everything without having to install codec packs.

You can download "K-Lite Codec Pack". it has all the codec and windows classic media player.
Go here and download "K-Lite Codec Pack 7.2.0" don't select the 64bit version. that is buggy. normal version works well on 64bit windows. then download the mega version. while install select custom. select "lots of stuff" then bellow select windows classic media player then follow the next steps and select your speakers etc...... then you able to play any kind of videos you have without any problem.
And it is free.

Foobar is the best music player and with the wasapi plugin sounds the best, I use VLC for videos i prefer it's UI to other players.
