When I send pictures (taken with MCA-25 and copied to phone) or themes to my laptop (qompaq armada e5oo) via infra-red I am only abel to send a few pictures (4-5, sometimes more, sometimes less) after witch the phone is trying to connect but always fails. Turning the phone off and on again sometimes works but I think that's not the way. It seems that the problem is in the phone, since it cannot find the IR on PC anymore while the PC still recognizes the phone. I tryed by setting the IR to work constantly (infrared ON), for 10 minutes and turning it on for each picture seperatly. The phone was in place always and there was no direct light exposur and no obsticles. But it is always the same. What should I do??? Please help! |

Check the IRD compatibility, check your phone & laptop/notebook IRD

check the communication settings speed of your computer's IrDA. Lowering it sometimes help. |

could always be one of those "demons in your machine". I have the reverse, after transfering a few files I usually end up getting an exception error on the IR port and the only way to get IR communication up and working again is to restart my machine.
If you switch off your phone and it still doesn't work on restart then it sounds a lot like its your machine.
