I have 9000 (INR) to spend on a music phone. I have in my mind the HAZEL (Rs. 8890), which is identical to the ELM (Rs. 7620) except that the hazel sports a bigger screen and costs around the 1500 more. So if i choose the elm, then i can go for a Sennheiser HD 203 headphone.
My primary concern is good quality music (SensMe) and using the GPS. The ELM + Sennheiser would be good for music definitely but the larger screen of hazel would be better for gps tracking, watching photos etc, a better experience. Also the design of hazel is sort of more attractive than the elm.

Both the combinations would be around the same price mark.
I need your opinion in which combination is better than the other.
Which one would you go for?

If you have anything else in mind please post.

I would go for Hazel since it fits your budget anyway, and the larger and brighter screen is definitely an advantage. I myself use Hazel + Audio Technica ATH - CKM30 + Hiron's Modified Acoustics

As far as music quality is concerned Hiron's modified acoustics is a must together with a high bitrate mp3 and a good pair of earphones.

Personally I chose Hazel over the Elm because I also think it looks more attractive than Elm.

Elm and Hazel have fastport. You can't use Sennheisers, only SE's fastport ear-/headphones.

Yes the Audio Technica ATH - CKM30 will be good. But I will settle for the Sennheizer, if I buy a headphone. Thank you for your response.

I would like some more suggestions.

Probably over budget but if you like music, try Aino. Great gps reception also.
Back to Hazel and Elm i'd pick Hazel.
With an adapter you can use any headset.

Thanks for your response. The Aino will be way over budget.
Back to Hazel and Elm, whats wrong with the elm?
For music, wont an elm + good headset will be better than hazel + stock earphones?

Both Elm and Hazel are equally good when it comes to music, it comes down to which headphones you use. I'd say display is Hazel's advantage but of course Hazel costs a little bit more than the Elm, and I agree go for sennheisers instead, I find my CKM30's a bit lacking in punchy bass, but has great highs and trebles.

Others are Aino and w995 just like they said, difference will be the cost but w995 has a 3.5 jack which makes it much more convenient to use for music.

Thank you all for your opinions.
The almighty W995 is about 400 USD, whereas the Elm or the Hazel are almost at half the price. So a double no no to that.
About the 3.5mm jack, I say I already have a converter port for that. So the sennheiser wont be a problem.
I know I will definitely have a better music experience with the sennheisers on. But does in anyway the hazel's screen surpasses that experience.
Anybody else wanna share their opinion, please post.

@zAlbee

WOW, I didnt know ebay sells mobiles that cheap. How do they end up doing that?
I mean I know ebays a good website. I cant think of a chinese w995 lol. But still, are those legitimate deals. And how do they manage to do that. I live in India and here at any mobile showroom, the w995 will set you back for at 18000 INR, which is about 400 USD. Then the question comes why Amazon sells a similar product at double the price.

I bought my phone from an ebay seller 6 months ago. At the time, W995 was also $200 USD (but prices went up just before the holidays )

The w995 is a 2-year old phone. It doesn't make sense to be that expensive.

The phones ship from Hong Kong for free. Here in the US, you can also order online from US shops, but they are just importers. Sometimes they raise the price to make a profit, since not everyone wants to wait for shipping from HK. If you walk inside a store, of course it's going to be more expensive.
