its been 1year seen ill buy my brand new Samsung Galaxy Ace s5830
I enjoy the cool moves or what they called flash on it.
but its that all?
seen its almost 1year am admit that i don't have any idea what android can do..
texting, calling, music, video, games? 1year around only for that 5 thing
can i do internet here? how?
I've heard about the android market? but how can i use it coz i don't ever experience internet on this cellphone
android give good quality of games? but where can i get that?
many question comes on my mind but no answer..
i thing i sure can't enjoy it because never try what the features of android..please help me

You would really need internet to take full advantage of any smartphone.

To my knowledge, Android offers very little that's unique compared to other smartphone operating systems. To me it all comes down to whether your phone is doing what you require of it.
I like:
* the ability to send certain numbers a busy tone when they call me. An app does it for me.
* GPS navigation. An app does it for me (I use an external bluetooth GPS receiver though).
* scheduling SMSs to be sent at a certain time. An app does it for me.
* good dictionaries. Some apps do that for me.
* better or easier-to-use apps (music, calculator, calendar, etc) than what the phone comes with. Apps do it for me.
All these are possible on Android and many other platforms (I use a Nokia phone).
Depends totally on what you want or need in a phone.
Appbrain is a good place to search for apps on Android.
You can probably connect to internet through wi-fi at home if you have a wireless router or in public like McDonalds, who might offer free internet (with limited speeds and how much you can download per session).

battery life sucks in any android device, so prepare to have a charger or an usb cable with u at all times.

Is it only Androids with the battery drain problem on wifi fbloise? I noticed that on an HTC Sensation I bought.

Skblakee, on my x10 mini pro, battery is fine on wifi. I can leave wifi on the whole day. Battery life suffers more for me when I turn on cellular data. GPRS and edge drain more than wifi... 3G and HSPA drain the worst. If I leave 3G data on, even just on standby, my phone won't last 12 hours. GPRS and edge give me about 20 hours standby. Wifi on can last approx 36 hours standby. All data connections off I've gotten 4-5 days of regular call/SMS use.
