can't decide, Play or Arc.wats ur opinion? |

well
i was so sure i want the Play
but after seeing both , play and arc, in real life
tried them both
am so confused....
i know wat u guys will say , if u like games, go for play
for pics, and design go for arc,
i know the diffrences...
the thing is, in arc i was thinking, am i gonna play that much on the phone?
play has a good cam too , but sure not as Arc, also not the design
and great display
on other hand, play was my long wainting dream , i phone which i really
can play real games when i want.. its not that bulcky as i thought
nice screen and cam , also its fast, and front cam
i can use it as a good phone, even if am not gonna play with it that much,
and when i want , i will have the option..
wats ur opinion, i wanted to buy one yesterday, but i did not
cuz i wanted them both 
by the way , is it the game, bruce li, or is it the Play
cuz it was slow, i mean it was smooth, but not fast as other
games ???

I know it's so hard for you to decide, but take the price in your considiration too.
I feel from your talk that you're liking Play more as you're not interested that much in what Arc gives you more. And you think that Play's spec. are nice too. But I think you should wait till both available here in Bahrain and see both prices
Just pray Fakhro bring these phones soon. I just went to them today at noon and played a little with Arc (second time for me) and they confirmed the delay to june again and again.
I think I may get it from saudia. I hope they have the mid night blue as I heard it's out of stock and the new patch is all Misty Silver which BTW costs BD10 more.

am tired of waiting, even when SE tries to be better
Fakhro insist to f**k SE reputation, i can assure u most normal users in Bahrain
don't think its fakhro's fault and blame SE, thats if they still remember it...
i was in dubai this weekend, i tried them both
as u said the price, it wont be that much, i was thinking to order it from Expansys
in both cases if anything happen ill have to ship them back
but still i dont know which one to take
??

To be honest with you I would go for the Play. Why do I say that? Well if the Play is your long dream phone then you have already answered your own question. Also other reasons include the fact that with the Play you still get a decent camera even without the Exmor or Bravia Engine. The Play has a thicker more robust design,great games which you want,decent camera,Android 2.3 aswell. The screen on the Play is fine. Having had the Arc I was let down by it's poor build and also the screen whilst stunning when I turned Bravia Engine off there was no difference. Get the Play  Future updates also suggest the Play may get HD video too

if you want to take good pictures and you own a satio why would you want to go to any of them?

@razec. i think after 2 years, i need an update, i agree satio cam is great
but other than this the phone is really out of date.. i will miss the cam speciall the xenon flash
but i will get better OS, and if this is not enough, better hardware, better screen, better in everything
but the cam. wat to do , we cant get all wat we want in this life

It really does sound from your statement that you are leaning more towards the Play in which case I wouldn't be too surprised. I have been in the exact same situation like you now. I've always wanted the Play eversince I saw it's concept shown on a site I visited and since then I always check new updates on timtechs and wait for the day I can buy one. That day came and I then saw the both the Play and the Arc and then I got confused. In the end though I realized that there will be new phones that will come out which will be as good if not better than the Arc in just a short period of time but the Play will be Play because it has a distinct special feature |

I have had the Arc for 4 days - I wasn't gonna buy it but a reviewer mate convinced me mainly because of the (for Android) excellent low-light photo capabilities. I'm glad I took his advice coz now I know he's full of sh₪t.
The camera aside it is the worst phone in its pricerange I have ever used (bar the Xperia X10) - and well, I have used a few.
Reception is poor - where I get 3G on other phones the Arc gives me EDGE. The Market crashes when the email client happens to sync in the background. As does Opera Mini.
My model was unlocked with the generic UK fw. Flashing to the Global version hasn't improved things.
The screen (Bravia LOL) sucks unless you look at it at the perfect angle. Everything looks washed out if it's not perfectly adjusted. Outdoor visibility is poor, too.
Battery life at least is okay for a 4`` + device, but so what?
The back cover is a joke - flimsy and poorly fitting. The scree, be warned, is far from scratchproof....
Get the Play. Heck - get any other phone for the money except for the X10. Is the X10 Mini actually the Best we'll remember them for in 5 years when they they dabble in whatever OS they'll be messing up then? |

@fairen, i think i made up my mind , ill go for the play, but in Dubai , and KSA the price is 150$ more than
Europe , really greedy..
@Jkovacz, r u sure that ur unite is ok?? i have one guy which he bought it first time it came to the market
and he was amazed, he always wanted to buy Samsung SII, but after trying ARC now he not sure
if he shoul go to samsung as the phone is fast , great built, and really stable OS...
and i have to agree about X10 mini, i have one, and i love it, so simple and do everything a normal person want
