Not sure but in all honesty you might aswell just go buy the x8. I think the x8 is a decent device its just releasing one the same is silly.

Wow,it beats the Motorola Droid  Thing is I love the design of the x8 & especially the white one & it's a decent performing phone for the price(currently £79 in Phones4U) It has a nice screen & decent features if a little laggy sometimes. But the Walkman version is just money wasted imo by  I wish the x8 had that music player widget though

On the contrary, it's easy money. Since it's same phone as X8 I doubt they have spent much money at all on this one.  |

True,I guess all they had to do was change the covers & put in a few Walkman bits of software like start up screen,wallpapers & Walkman player

maybe they have a lot of X8 in stock and is not selling well in some market? so they thought that they will reuse this model and brand it as a Walkman, and will sell them on Emerging Markets like here in the Philippines.
X8 here cost only $72(sim free white version) and $80(sim free black version) so how much this W8 if will be released? i am thinking it will be the same as the black version.
