Then pressed a number hoping for contact to jump to the corresponding alphabet (say pressing '3' inorder to jump to contacts starting with 'D') but instead the number '3' appears. I couldn't get to key in the alphabets even for SMS using key pad. This problem came from nowhere because i was able to these before. Actually, you don't even need to go to the contacts list. It works the same as on my T68i.. At the default screen with keypad not locked I can just press and hold a number and the phone book appears at the first letter represented by that number.
