NOTE: This tutorial uses MangoVPN's trial server Hilaw, which is 100% free to access, 24/7 connection, and hourly forced disconnections. Experience hi-speed internet without spending a single buck!

Works for both Globe and Smart only!

Surf the internet with your Globe Tattoo, SmartBro or Sun Broadband kahit na walang load! (zero load for Globe, at least piso to P4 load for Sun & Smart) Follow this tutorial para sa isang tipid na internet surfing experience.

First Phase: PREPARATION

For GLOBE users:
Para maka-avail ng (almost) free internet, any Globe SIM will work, preferably having zero balance.

If you are using a Globe plug-it (modem, usb modem, etc.) then there’s no need to edit your dashboard settings.

If you are using an open-line plug-it (modem na pwede kahit anong SIM), create a connection profile with the ff. settings:

Code:
Profile name: Globe

Dial number: *99#
Access point name: http.globe.com.ph

For other settings, just leave them empty or unchanged. Set Globe as your default connection profile and try connecting.

If your modem connects successfully then you’re off to go to the next step – OpenVPN.

For SMART users:
Para maka-avail ng (almost) free internet, a Smart Buddy SIM with P1-P4 load will work. Any SmartBRO SIMs are no use here.

If you are using a SmartBro plug-it (modem, usb modem, etc.) then there’s no need to edit your dashboard settings.

If you are using an open-line plug-it (modem na pwede kahit anong SIM), create a connection profile with the ff. settings:

Code:
Profile name: Smart

Dial number: *99#
Access point name: internet

For other settings, just leave them empty or unchanged. If your modem connects successfully then you’re off to go to the next step – OpenVPN.

For SUN users:
VPNs do not work with the Sun network even if you have regular load. Buy a new Globe or Smart sim as alternative.

Second Phase: OPENVPN

In order for you to browse the internet kahit na walang enough load, we need to connect to a VPN or Virtual Private Network. Isa ng example diyan ay itong MangoVPN. Yun nga lang, to be able to connect to the Mango network, you need a program to use our config files. This is where OpenVPN comes!

Di ko na ieexplain what OpenVPN is, ganto na lang.

~ First step: REGISTER HERE and download MangoVPN Installer here (click mo lang, the link can also be found on your premium panel).

PS. dont forget to verify your account on your email. pag wala sa inbox nasa spam box lang yan

~ Next, i-run mo yung dinownload mong MangoVPN Installer (Run as admin pag Vista/7)

~ After the installation, magoopen automatically yung account.txt, edit it and replace with your username and password dito sa MangoVPN website

~ After saving the changes you made sa account.txt, close the file then open MangoVPN on your desktop (yellow+red M icon), click Yes if it asks you to allow installation of network drivers

~ OpenVPN will start and a red-monitor icon will appear on your system tray (beside the clock/time, hover your mouse pointer on it and it will show OpenVPN GUI)
~ Connect your USB modem to the internet (doesn’t matter if you can’t surf due to zero prepaid balance)
~ Right click the OpenVPN icon on the system tray then point over MangoVPN.hilaw then click Connect

~ Wait for it to connect. The red icon will transform to green once it successfully connects to the network

~ Once connected, you can now browse or surf or download or upload

FINISHED! Please post your feedback here regarding speed and stability. You can check kung ilang connections meron sa Hilaw server here on our server status page.

PS. For UDP connections, download the installer on your Premium Panel (login muna kayo sa site)

auto reconnect naman po yan sir kaya parang wala lang yung dc lalo na pag udp ang bilis niya talaga magreconnect
premium account po varying ang prices depende sa reseller http://mangovpn.com/talk/forum/marketplace
udp installer, tested working: http://mangovpn.com/configs/MangoVPN-HilawUDP.exe
